Dhofari/Maheri tribe are Somali ancestry because Al-Mahri are believed to have moved from the Horn Of Africa after I meet some elders from Al-mahri tribe they told me same thing.

I realize South Arabian tribes were actually descended from Horn of Africa, specially from Somalia.
As the matter of the fact: The large tribe Darood of Somalia and Al-mahri from Yemen is claimed by both parties and historical records.

Even Yemenis who live in Sacorta island are majority Al-mahri tribe, they don't accept to be called Yemenis, they've said their Ancestry were Somali, specially Daroods.
