Something about the Yezidis may have been posted before but I can't find it with the Search function. They are a small group of about 100,000 (formerly 1,000,000 before the Muslims persecuted them like Abrahamites are wont to do.)

They venerate their founder, angels and spirits especially Malek Taus "the peacock angel" a "luciferian" figure who was made to reign over the world. It is said his tears extinguished all the fires of Hell. They make pilgrimage to a temple and tomb of their founder in Lalesh Kurdistan. Like the Sufis and the Pre-Islamic Arabs (among other ancient M. Eastern population groups), tomb veneration plays a major role in their faith.

They are a very secretive group although their texts are available at the Sacred Texts website. I was very surprised to find that there were a number of videos on Youtube showing their pilgrimmage and imagery. The Yazidi religion is uniquely Kurdish with Persian, old Mesopotamian, Jewish and Islamic folk influences.
