The council of EU finance ministers said Athens must comply with austerity demands by March 16 or lose control over its own tax and spend policies altogether. It if fails to do so, the EU will itself impose cuts under the draconian Article 126.9 of the Lisbon Treaty in what would amount to economic suzerainty.

While the symbolic move to suspend Greece of its voting rights at one meeting makes no practical difference, it marks a constitutional watershed and represents a crushing loss of sovereignty.

"We certainly won't let them off the hook," said Austria's finance minister, Josef Proll, echoing views shared by colleagues in Northern Europe. Some German officials have called for Greece to be denied a vote in all EU matter until it emerges from "receivership".

The big question is whether Greece will let the EU take control of their "tax and spend policies" or they will just leave the EU and return to the drachma.

Did the Greeek government voted for this treaty? Then it will be interesting to see what there response might be. Probably they gone regret not reading the book better in the first place.

The way I see it the Greek Government will feign indignation but secretly be happy enough to go along with whatever's coming their way.

The entire point of the EU is to destroy nation states, nations and sovereignty in favour of the ruling Brussels junta. Most European politicians (Governments and opposition parties) chose (or were bribed) to buy into the EU system and signed up their countries (often without public referendums or approvals).

These transfers of power and sovereignty are of course anti-democratic in nature as it concentrates power in the hands of a few elites whilst it relegates national governments to token rulers with token powers whilst the public's only input is in voting for EU Commissars from party A, B, C, D or whatever.

The common denominator is that whoever they vote for will probably be working for the EU Cabal. Therefore once countries are signed up, getting "out" is going to be almost impossible.

Welcome to the EUSSR!
