Cyprus, Turkey and the Caucasus.
EDIT: Given that this is Press TV, are they Middle Eastern immigrants protesting in Greece?

Greek transport workers protesting.

Funny, because mainland Greeks at least don't usually look so exotic as a group like that.

Bulgaria, Turkey, and Romania.

Definitely a Balkan sort of look. Not Cyprus.

I would classify them as Pontid/med, more or less with varying degrees of dinarization.

Balkan areas to Turkey.

You can't find a group like that in any other Balkan country, maybe Fyrom.

Well they don't look collectively Armenian or Turkish either.

Which is why I like posting politicians from different ethnic groups and nationalities. At least with them (1) you get to verify their names and backgrounds and (2) when it comes to Third World countries, they tend to have much more representative phenotypes than do the actors and models.

Almost.

Greece has a lot of immigrants, so we don't know for sure they are full Greek. If they are from Athens, anyway.

If these are from somewhere rural we'd know for sure.

Almost.

There is no Armenoid among them.

It's a good way but personally I wouldn't post politicians neither because most of them are old, most get fat and ugly, their noses bigger and it's also mediterranean/balkan trait to get darker when you age so I prefer random young people.

Photos of uni students etc. can be good, but the trouble is that, in the UK at least, many of them are foreigners and ethnic minorities.

Well, don't concentrate on the pigmentation, phenotype is what I am asking to classify.
