The epitome of Irish-looking, I think. Beautiful lady. My guess is Atlanto-Brunn.

Brunn-Atlantid seems about right, with pred Brunn I think. She has the lower jaw and eye-eyebrow configuration some Irish have.

That's not her natural hair color though, I'm pretty sure (although raven hair isn't unknown in Ireland - there are Gaelic names that mean that, so it's anciently Keltic).

Yeah, I believe she dies her hair, it's probably naturally brown. She looks good with it black though.

I was in Ireland last summer.
On the contrary you're an American, probably you never seen a real Irish person in your life.
This girl can be Irish, but she's not the epitome of Irish-look

He has down-syndrome, just ignore him. His disability gets in the way of him being able to write coherently.

Agree, Atlanto-Brunn, but I think there might be a bit of Dinarization in her too. She has that rustic look.

If my aunt died her hair black instead of its natural strawberry blonde, this woman would be her clone. Which is in fact about as Irish as it gets.

It's true Irish Americans don't look quite the same as Irish in Ireland, that's because they are actually Irish and not some shittards who came from the rest of UK like 90% of Ireland. Go to the remore western parts of Ireland however and this woman fits in perfectly. Hopefull this doesn't go into a "what does irish people look like" thing again because holy shit it is annoying. Go back and google my first posts here if you want to see the reality.

Looks like brunn plus paleoatlantid to me.

If anything I'd say it's the other way around. From my experience, a lot of Americans who claim "Irish-American" ancestry are, in fact, descended from the Ulster Scots, or are heavily admixed with other groups such as the British or Germans.

Ulster scots went almost entirely to the south, and none of them call themselves irish anyway. Even in ireland they don't....

Blasphemy. Anyway, Ulster Scots are only in the South. Most Irish in America aren't.

People who came to USA from Ireland were speaking Irish until well into 20th century. They are real Irish. The spread of English language came about by people who already spoke it until after 1917 revolution. The potato farmers who got squeezed off their plots were ALL Irish, not newcomers. They basically got completely replaced except about 10% of the country. Here they are in USA. Over there is some other shit. For proof you can look at Irish Travelers who are a peak into what Irish looked like before the war and the famines.

They aren't only in the South; there were a number of them in the original 13 colonies, as well as the Midwest and especially Appalachia. Here's a modern-day distribution map, but it may be skewed due to self-reporting:

I've found more than a few "Irish" surnames in my family tree, as well as those of my friends, and most of them turned out to be Scots-Irish. It probably depends heavily on what part of the country you are in, but my experience is that areas around Appalachia, the South, and the Midwest have quite a bit of Scots-Irish.

Dolores O'Riordan does look very Irish and was born in Limerick which is not in the West of Ireland. Melonhead you are lucky I have a soft spot for you because you speak a lot of nonsense about Irish people. The Corrs are from the Eastern part of Ireland. Do you not think they look Irish? There were some plantations in the south of Ireland but many of them failed due to attacks from the surrounding Irish. The Pale around Dublin is most probably the most successful area of Plantation but for generations Irish from the country areas have been going there to live so all these areas would have a substantial amount of Irish genes. If the Irish are not really Irish why do the majority of them carry Gaelic names? Why would English people adopt the names of their enemies? None of what you say makes any sense. A lot of Irish Anglicised their names to more English sounding names but still can trace their original Irish names.

There are very few Irish-Americans who are solely Irish so how can they represent what Irish look like?

She looks so Irish it hurts, but not necessarily the most common look for Ireland, I doubt she could fit anywhere else though.
