View Full Version : Please Classify Me
How would the Apricity experts classify me? I'm currently living in a region where my looks are not the standard and I get asked often if I'm of X nationality/ethnicity, which includes at least 4, but never my real one. As a result, I've become interested in racial taxonomy. I'm not sure which category I fall into. I'm not from New Zealand and I'm not Maori.

Pure Pontid+CM
With slight influence of Dinarization on your nose, but I think it's not even worth of mentioning... as I've said, pre-dominant Pontid+CM.

You can pass in Greece. I think you are mostly pontid.

People why do you mention Turk all the time about this guy? Rather say Anadolid, western. But I stick with my opinion that he is pre-dominant Pontid+CM, pure and simple.

Alpinised CM/Cromagnoid with Iranid. I suppose you're from somewhere in the Middle-East, but I could be wrong.

I'll go with Serb or Bulgarian.
Thank you all for the classifications.

Indeed, Turk(ish) is people's first guess about my nationality/ethnicity...

... and Greek respectively.
Balkanoid, Bulgarian, Serbian are new. I think I'm too dark/hairy to pass as Balkan. Iranid is also new. However, I definitely see some similarities with these types.
As for my nationality/ethnicity, I'm Brazilian of Portuguese+African descent. On my father's side, my grandfather was at least 1/2 black, my grandmother was full Portuguese. On my mother's side, everyone is/was full Portuguese as far as this can be traced. My father is whiter than my mother tho, intriguing genetics.

This seems like the most accurate classification. At first I thought, due to my ancestry, I was some Atlantomediterranid or Gracile Mediterranid. My eyebrows are very low-set, which apparently is a typical trait of these types, but my skull is wider and my features are not as sharp/gracile, so I think Pontid fits the bill.

Lol, you aren't. But I was about to guess Greek.

Exactly. That is your phenotype, Pontid+CM.
