McIlroy looks Atlantid-Brunn (jowls) with the Orientalid like tendency I see in Atlantids (eyebrows, nose, mouth/teeth).

I think McIlroy is on the same range as me, being Atlanto-Brünn.

Thank you my lassie, you are very kind. I just think that we belong to the same phenotypical range. How common are brown eyes in Ireland?

There are plenty of brown eyed people but blue eyes are more common. There are brown eyes on both sides of my family. I think the Irish are very hard to pin down because there is a lot of variety in colouring. Blue and mixed eyes are more common than full brown eyes though. I personally think Irish people prefer brown eyes.

Yes, blue eyes seem to be the rule indeed amongst Irishmen, just like with any other group in the Isles. Am just asking because I read that Ireland is 99,5% light eyed and only 0,5% dark eyed, and it didn't seem right for me. I mean, of course light eyes predominate, but only 0,5% of dark eyes seemed weird. But it was from Coon, so nothing that can be trusted.

Most Irish with brown eyes are more of a hazel colour. Very deep brown eyes are rare. I think Irish women have a soft spot for Italian men or Spanish. :) I remember my cousin saying that Irishwomen notice brown eyes more than blue.

Blue eyes are definitely more common but now that I'm more aware a lot of Irish people tend to have mixed eyes. That is mostly blue eyes but with green or gold around the pupil. I've noticed this a lot in my immediate family and relatives.

Makes sense, after all my mother married my father, who is an Italian bastardo :P

Rory is quite dark. He's what some call "black Irish."

Rickie Fowler is a quarter Japanese, and up to a quarter Native American. But he doesn't seem too exotic to me. Just a little bit "off" but otherwise white in appearance.

Black Irish is a stupid American concept for instance are Sean Connery, Catherine Zeta Jones Rickie and Keira Knightley 'black Irish' ? As far as I know Rory is a protestant Ulster Scot. That darkness you are seeing is Atlanto-mediterranean admixture that is called pictish in Scotland. So Scottish nationalism is the rise of Pictish+Irish(Brunn)-Dal-Riata but Scottish people tend to be Celto-Germanic were the Irish are Atlantic seaboard Celts. Welsh nationalism is the rise of the Romanized-Atlanto-med type and English nationalism is the rise of the Germanic Anglo-Saxon type and Irish nationalism is the rise of the pure Brunn type.
