I do think that she looks just like a tanned North-western Euro person, but something about her always struck me as somewhat "exotic" and "tropical". Like you said, it could just be the tan but her family history is also somewhat unique.

Thanks! I don't think she's that well known in the Australia, but there was a period where she was pretty popular in the US. I think you're right about the French part, as she has a French surname (Havana Brown is a stage name) and most likely has some French ancestry. But based on her parents and their country of origin, I think she has some other influences even though they don't show up all that much in her phenotype.

She looks Southern English as they tend to be darker in skin color than Irish people or Scots for example. They are also shorter....that is southern england...dark brown hair usually [blonde is there as well though], and they have more of a tan look.

Apparently they're from Mauritius, an island in the Indian ocean with a high South and East Asian population.

Based on her parents, I'd guess that she is at least 30% East Asian and likely has South Asian ancestry as well. Do you think it shows up at all in her phenotype? Is she what I've heard termed a "throw back"?

They're from Mauritius, which has a South Asian majority. But there are also Chinese and French minorities. She has a French last name and her family looks at least partially East Asian, so I'd guess they're a mix of Chinese and French. The mom could be Indian, though. It's hard to tell with the glasses.

Funny thread i stumbled upon (faelid, Irish,.. lol Apricity). She s obviously mixed, her name is French but usual with Mauritians, most don't even look remotely Euro with French or Anglo names, her parents do look even less than her. I think some ASE/Australoid influence is noticeable. Attractive in some way nonetheless.
