To me - definitely dark brown.

It's interesting, however, how the perception changes from country to country.

In my postgraduate-course, I shared a flat with an Italian guy. He always described his girlfriend as blonde, and when she came to visit she was - to me - obviously a brunette, haircolour similar to the girl in the picture.

I think it's a light to medium type of brown (It's lighter on the top parts of the hair (which exposure to the sunlight could high-lighten), and slightly darker tones in the hair underneath the top parts - but the light in the atmosphere may give the illusion it's darker underneath unless all her hair is lifted up high and exposed to the full daylight).

I don't see any blond in it for it to be classified as 'dark blond', and it's not dark brown enough to be 'dark brown'. I think it's somewhere between a light brown to a medium brown shade.
