Ebola just arrived to the U.S.A., thanks to people that was helping Africans to survive. Africa is just the contagious-diseases capital of the world!

I'm surprised there's been no huge ebola outbreak that hit a major city in africa. It's got to just be a matter of time. Like I said before, we should just exterminate the great apes, or else we are going to have endless diseases over time. We don't even know crap exists until people start dying.

There is also a hospital in Hamburg which said it will treat people with end-stage ebola.

All good and well to have them in air-locked hospital rooms once they are there, but HOW DO THEY GET THEM THERE and how many people are EXPOSED to the virus in the process of shipping them to Germany (or elsewhere in the world for that matter)?

This is like voluntarily importing the plague into a country.

In my opinion: if the WHO wants people treated for ebola, then the WHO should set up a military hospital wherever the disease is at its worst and treat the people locally, instead of sending them across the world.

Send the specialists to Africa, not ship patients with one of the deadliest diseases known to man across the world.

Great apes actually aren't guilty, but Black people that eat them.

Great apes actually aren't guilty, but Black people that eat them.

actually the reason the apes have those diseases was because white scientists used to infect them for medical research and finding out vaccinations. Eating them was actually part of their diet for a long time before the white scientists came and messed with their food source. They actually have a relatively low incident of ebola but they were still ignorant for not taking serious. Similarly the case with mad cow disease that happened in America

BS. That's a conspiration theory without support. Tropical Africa has always been the source of most contagious diseases. That's why it wasn't settled by the White man, except in South Africa.
The bad habits of Blacks, like eating money food in bad condition, is the cause of Ebola spreading. And that's it.

Good job charity organizations, i hope these sickness will strike your families first.

Africa needs to be cornered with 30 metters high wall, bombard towers and laser guns.
And secret route for Boers to escape. Nothing good ever came from Africa.

Whites settled all over SSA (Angola, Kenya, Etc.).

The bad habits of Blacks, like eating money food in bad condition, is the cause of Ebola spreading. And that's it.

Maybe initially but afterwards it's spread by blood and bodily fluids. This is a disease that can be easily controlled.

I couldn't help but think of this scene from The Simpsons.

Scientists didn't even know about ebola or aids until they started to kill people. They did not make the disease.

Well, how many man made diseases can you list? And second yes nobody knew at the time. Most of the time people don't know about it until later on because people usually mis diagnosed,; don't understand until its a epidemic when disease is relatively new. I am not saying they had an evil intention but their action is still responsible for that. The liberians though are not taking it as serious which is bad.It doesn't help though that most of the population isn't very educated about health and stuff related to that as well

It's emotionality plus wanting to try out all their gizmos. But there is no reason not to set something up somewhere on an island in the pacific and one in the atlantic, where no one will leave until it's all clear.

With all the daily flights around the world it's just a matter of time til some huge pandemic hits. They don't even have the ability to deal with a few hundred cases, what will they do when there's 20 million? It's bound to happen, and who knows when.

It can be easily controlled in developed countries, not in overcrowded shitholes with extremely poor hygiene like the African cities are. And is a virus which mutates easily, so it might happen that mutates to spread by air like flu and in this case would kill 2/3 of world population. The long it continues spreading, the most chances to mutate.

Partly true, It is a poor country, but its also spread because accidents when they cut the meat. And they have a low incident of ebola. But it should be serious before it can get seriously of proporton or some new super strand comes out. Who knows maybe they will develop an immunity to it like spaniards when they brought small pox over here

First HIV, then Ebola, what is next?

Where did HIV come from?
Scientists identified a type of chimpanzee in West Africa as the source of HIV infection in humans. They believe that the chimpanzee version of the immunodeficiency virus (called simian immunodeficiency virus or SIV) most likely was transmitted to humans and mutated into HIV when humans hunted these chimpanzees for meat and came into contact with their infected blood. Over decades, the virus slowly spread across Africa and later into other parts of the world.

Only spread from animals in the first cases, now is spreading from human to human. And most of Spaniards did not have inmunity to small pox.

???? so. They still brought it over and they did have at least resistance. The people over here had 0 resistance. whats your point? And when it was brought here it wasnt from animal to animal. It was direct human contact.

Yes, they had more resistance but most had no inmunity, and they developed it after several centuries being in contact with the virus and deadly epidemies like the Antonine plague.

But Ebola until some months ago, only happened in remote, underpopulated and isolated areas so most of population never came into contact with it nor suffered great epidemics for centuries like small pox in Europe so they had no oportunity to develop a resistance or inmunity. So you can't compare with small pox.

LMao than I guess Ebola is not a serious issue than
 why are you whining Ebola than. Is this supposed to be a contest? I guess we should wait since Ebola is not that serious and see if it can become as big small pox.
No i guess you are right. Ebola cannot compare with the bubonic plague or small pox. Not even Aids

I think this is one of the most rational things we could do. I am glad we are helping the world out even if it means spreading a disease...... oh well for those who are not immune.

Isn't coincidence the continent of Blacks is birthplace of many incurable infectious diseases like HIV/AIDS now EBOLA also many unknown diseases to the public, I think exporting liberals and quarantine whole continent shall do the work. :thumb001:

Africa is the birthplace of so many diseases, the worst of them being the human species.

As for Ebola, it's still very small compared to Malaria for instance. I wouldn't worry for now.

Ebola is going to be an epidemic in Europe, and it's going to happen, because the Africans from the region where ebola has become an epidemic can freely come, go and stay as they please in Europe

The people whom went over there are completely devoid of human instinct. They betrayed everything instinctual in themselves and put themselves in completely unneeded danger. And so the answer of our idiocratic government is to bring them into our country so they can infect people who did use their instincts. I thought socialism was all about the good of the collective, not endangering the collective in the name of some stupid individuals lol. Nevertheless, I would not shed a tear for the majority in this country so this could be a good thing. Might take out some of these mediocre masses.

And secret route for Boers to escape. Nothing good ever came from Africa.

Egypt was the world's foremost power for the longest duration in recorded history. Rome, the Holy Roman Empire, and the latest sequence led by the British Empire and the US had much sorter durations.
After the Persian, the Egyptian culture was the most important extra continental influence for the development of European politics and religion.

Aretostenes, he first man who ever realised the earth was round, measured its perimeter and boosted nautic exploration to new levels conducted all of his research in Egypt and current Ethiopia.

Alexandria was the best city in terms of design and research and development for centuries. The amount of knowledge in its library was only matched after the Renaissance.

While one can argue different things about the complex and still unexplored continent that is Africa, saying it hasn't given absolutely anything is far from the truth.

Just as an ironic fact, most of the cannabis that the superior white European youth use is harvested precisely in Africa. Likewise, food production in Africa is almost entirely consumed by the European market, even at the cost of the African native habitat, as the disaster of Lake Victoria can attest.

Ebola has reached here now too.

Nothing in the papers or news (other than hoaxes), but as a health care worker who has contact with other health care workers, I do know what the media isn't reporting and it's not pretty.

Health care workers are paid very poorly and this leads them to moonlight at other hospitals on days they are supposed to be off. Today they can have contact with the virus at their permanent workplace, and tomorrow they are working at another hospital to make ends meet. You can just imagine how quickly an epidemic like this can spread to both patients and other hospital staff before the carrier even starts showing symptoms.

They have started circulating internal letters in the hospitals now regarding signs and symptoms and urging all health care workers with similar signs to report in at a local academic hospital where they can be isolated and have further tests done.
