Nothing really. A welshman is basically English - minus Germanic. So it's found in many other parts. Just more concentrated.

He looks very English and generally British too, one of those Brits hat I'd very instinctively place in UK. Those big incisors and kind of loony smile in the first photo gives me too much of this impression, it seems to repeat often enough. ;)

It's very true, but I am not sure to what extent this is due to genetics or to what extent to gestures (learnt), "attitude" and "style".

You know how often by someone's gestures/expression you know "ah no way is he from this country" before they talk, even though physically they could pass.
