Quite an interesting documentary of this dramatic conflict, a very interesting and important one, generally overshadowed by the European front of the 2nd World War. China had to cope with industrialised Japan, an internal dispute between nationalists and communists and even skirmishes with the Soviet Union.

Unlike Japan, China was unprepared for total war and had little military-industrial strength, no mechanized divisions, and few armoured forces.

China did not even manufacture fighter planes of its own, and yet they managed to resist Japan.
