He looks little Caucasus-like in the last picture. It seems to be more common in Basques. In Europe he passes (probably) more or less superficially in Balkans, Italy and West Asia too, but I don't identify this kind of look with some specific group.

I can speak of Basques of Spanish side. They can not be differenciated of the rest of our population.
But I think that French Basques must be very similar too.
