What is regular Nordic? Because if you're talking about Halstatt than they are far taller and robust than Keltics because of more admixture with CM.

Not far taller at all, I think. Maybe slightly, if at all. There shouldn't be much difference, because the main distinction between the two is a Dinaric element present in the KN, usually can be crudely recognized by the convex nose. Dinarics are just as tall if not naturally taller than Nordics.

CM elements are common in Halstatt types, yeah, but not always. Brunn is also very common in combination with Kelt.

And in fact, all their conquests had been reversed by the 13th century, when the Norwegians were defeated in the Scottish-Norwegian War and all the islands were reclaimed.

The Vikings were about as far from glorious as you can get, seeing as they preyed on primitive fractured tribes and never took on real European powers.
