I don't have the answer but it seems that most people who are classified as KN on this forum, at least, are either british or northern french.

By Coon's definition, it's similar to the Hallstat type (classic Nordic) but with a more sloping forehead, longer nose, and different hair color (varying shades of brown or red)

So where does the Keltic come into it and where from, the Irish?

Coon's definition:

Keltic Iron Age Type: The Keltic sub-type, mesocephalic and low-vaulted, with a prominent nose. Commonest in the British Isles where in places it forms the principal element in the population. Also a major element in Flanders and the Frankish country in southwestern Germany.

Thats interesting. Those are very British traits I sometimes associate with some Atlantid phenotypes too.

The whole of the British isles was "Keltic" before Germanic (Anlo-Saxon) invasions.

Keltic Nordic is probably one of the easiest type to understand.
Probably because of the high presence of English and Irish actors/singers that conform to this type.
It was used by Coon and Hooton.

It is the most common Nordic phenotype in the entire world today! Perhaps it was not so 680 years ago. This Caucasoid racial phenotype is associated with the Ancient Celtic-speaking Europeans. People who lived in Pre Roman Age Britain and parts of mainland North - Western Europe. The defining characteristics are low vault, mesocephaly, nasal prominence, a sloping forehead

A convex nose in a blond guy... but it is also Norid... possibly the difference is Keltic has a head shape closest to Nordid type.

680 years ago? You mean Keltic Nordics were the great survivors of the Black Death?

According I remember celts are rooted in Hallstat Nordid type (Hallstatt Culture (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hallstatt_culture)), this "Keltic Nordid" name is sinistred like "Brunn" (people from Brünn site were Corded Nordid).

Norid can be confused very easily wih KN, I agree. They are quite similar types.

Personally I got darker haired Norid or darker haired KN (amongst all classifications that I had received), so I guess there can be some confusion.
