A friend asked me this question and I am completely stumped. He's a good friend of mine and I don't want to give him bad advice, lol. So, to the Apricity, what gift would you buy for a girl who you like?

I bought perfume for mine a couple days ago.
She likes Ralph Lauren's Romance. It's not hard on the pocket and it makes her smell delicious.
Beyond that I just bought some red wine for her.

Something useful or just what she likes. Every person likes to be given different presents, not the ordinary roses, parfumes, lingerie and stuff...

How about gifts that include jewelry?

Eg, jewellery or lingerie would be totally inappropriate if the guy hardly knows the girl. :p

That makes sense.

Well, I guess I will tell my friend to get her something simple but not too simple or expensive and at the same time it'd be something she'd like.

I think small, romantic gestures speak volumes (the more spontaneous, the better)... while the message is often lost in flashy or elaborate gifts.

I like them, because I like jewelry, however not all females like to wear such things. Also, there's a great variety of jewelry styles. However, something simple and elegant made from silver is the absolute classic. And not so expensive;)

Flowers are very rarely unwelcome, in the situations where other inspiration is momentarily lacking. :) As for jewellery, a silver Tiffany's thing might be nice.

I normally despise "gifts for gifts' sake" that you'll find in the average cardshop. But some of the things are cute... :o:D

Yes, but the girls I know who are gamers usually are more into Roleplaying games than Strategy games though
...
A Strategy loving girl is a real gem.;)

I always give my wife presents she can use, for example; the last present I gave her was an electrical extension lead, so she can do her ironing whilst watching Eastenders on the TV in the living room. :)
