The formal flag raising ceremony for Bulgaria's National Holiday - Liberation Day, March 3, 2010 - was attended by the state leaders and about a couple of thousand citizens. It traditionally takes place before the Monument of the Unknown Soldier near the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in downtown Sofia.
