He is Cretan.

Cretans can be quite light, I am not surprised.

He is Cretan.

Doubt it, doesn't have the west cretan look even.

Out of all the "slavicised" greeks that siceliot has ever posted, this guy is the first one I've seen who looks like an actual baltic slav.

I didn't even post this one, that's what is funny.

He looks generally Slavic. I have seen many Greeks who look Slavicized but this guy looks actually Polish to me. It's no wonder I get mistaken for Greek -- mix Polish and Sicilian together and it should come out Greek looking.

They still have an Eastern European genetic affinity due to the Dorian Greek settlement of the island. Doesn't have to be "Slavic" per se.

According to Underhill, they are around 2-3% while greece overall is firmly below 10%. So it could he's be very cherry picked.

Certianly not the eastern IE type that gets confused with slavs and is common otherwise. Guy looks legit kurwaborn.

The original Greek speakers were part of an Indo-European wave of migration from NE Europe into the Balkans.. and then they ended up on the islands which is why they speak Greek there. It doesn't have to be "Slavic" admixture, all Greeks have genetic affinity with NE Europe.

Reminds me a lot of those russo-pontics we got after the fall of the EUSSR, same face. (spoiler, maybe 1 in 10 were actual pontics)

Not so sure on the lady above.
