Please Classify John Oliver

John William Oliver (born 23 April 1977) is a British comedian, political satirist and actor. He is widely known in the U.S. for his work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the satirical comedy podcast The Bugle. Oliver left The Daily Show at the end of 2013 and began hosting Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO on 27 April 2014. In his native UK, he is best known for his appearances as a panellist on Mock the Week.

Oliver was born in Erdington, a suburb of Birmingham, and educated in Bedford at the Mark Rutherford School. His parents were teachers from Liverpool. In the mid to late 1990s, Oliver was a member of the Cambridge Footlights, the comedy troupe run by students of Cambridge University, with contemporaries including David Mitchell and Richard Ayoade. In 1997 he was the Footlights vice-president. In 1998, he graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge, where he studied English.

I've never heard anything official about it, but I'd be surprised if he wasn't Jewish. He's pretty Armenoid.

I don't think he is. There's always an element of Jewish-looking Brits like Simon Bird. It's one reason I think racial Judeophobia never gained popularity in the UK.

Not an Armenoid atleast not a pure one. Taurid-Atlantid-Alpinid. He doesn't look all that Jewish but more French or Basque IMO.

Yeah your right, he's got a very French vibe about him, the only thing that makes him look Jewish in the slightest is his nose, to me he looks like a French Jew.
