Everybody knows this silly joke here. "You cannot pee from Tisted to Ringsted, but you can call from Ringsted to Tisted.
Helved (mean hell) is located only a few kilometers from Guderup (God's spot/place) which is closer than Lem and Tarm which are 20 km apart.

A town called Skjern i located in between Lem and Tarm and is sometimes referred to as 'the perinium'.

My favorite name is Døllefjelde-Musse. It just sounds weird and happy.

I'm down the road now from Woolfardisworthy (thankfully pronounced 'Woolzeri'). :p Amazing to see an Old English name almost unchanged. Wulfheardes worthig. :thumb001: There's Alverdiscott too, not too far off. Seems a bit shortened, despite keeping the vowel in the genitive. Probably AEthelfrith's.

Lots of small farms round here are called 'Buda' which puzzles me. I saw one, and half wondered if it was owned by some Magyar emigre, but then I noticed a few more. Must be some dialect term. There's an explanation in a pdf here, but you have to pay :(

Yep, the explanation seems to be in there. The funny thing is that it's from 1931 and at the very end it mentions that in the next issue of the journal there will be a paper by Professor J.R.R. Tolkien. :D

If you ever want any more articles be sure to let me know. I think that after I graduate I no longer have access to all these journals, which is a real shame. So, just let me know if you want any more. I've found a couple articles for Psychonaut already.
