A lot of Russian ladies aren't very beautiful. Most of them are average or even below average. There are an exceptional few that stand out but they aren't representative. Best looking men and women are almost always from west of Poland. The further east and south you go the uglier Europeans become. That's been my experience at least. I don't believe there are any appropriate pop culture role models for young girls and teenagers.

I think it would be nice if parents and big brother/big sister types that could fill that role for kids, until they are able to make more connective and functional ideas when they are older.
