Norid + a slight Cromagnoid influence. In the younger pictures he looks more Nordo-Mediterranid probably Nordid or North-Pontid. As he aged, the Taurid(most probably Dinarid) and to a lesser extent Cromagnoid elements are evident.

He was German origin ethnic Hungarian. Never called himself German/Austrian, he called himself Hungarian in all of his declarations. He was a first generation assimilant.
