Its difficult to say, but i would say that half of them can pass in the levant, and the other half pass in south asia(north-west indians or Pakistanis).

Pictures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 can pass in the levant, while the rest in north-west india. However, i can say that most of the pictures can pass in India as well, and vice versa.

Has the IQ of this forum really dropped today or what??? May we please have some classifications of the seven women?

I listed next to them what I'd guess.

Gracile Med-- Iberian
Med-Taurid -- Sicilian
South Med -- Puerto Rican
Med-Semitic -- Levantine or Cypriot (could be an exotic Sicilian)
South Med-Berid -- Iberian
Berid quadroon -- Puerto Rican
Gracile Med-Berberid -- Canarian

Finally, an intelligent and useful contribution to the thread. Thank you ever so much.:thumb001:

I'd even go so far as to say the first woman looks stereotypically or even uniquely Iberian.

Really? She surely looks at least equally Italian as she does Iberian.

Not to me. The second one fits better in Italy.

Dati could pass as Iberian ?§ I don't think so. Her brother looks like that

In my opinion, only Berra could pass as Italian or Spanish/Portugal but barely.

Actually, imo her brother looks even more non-European than her. While some of the examples in the OP are light-skinned, I don't think any of them really have European facial features (Iberian, Italian or otherwise, except as you say for Nora Berra).

As far as i know, none of them have french parents so there s no surprise they just look North African as expected, and would have hard time passing as European anywhere. Dati is Algerian-Moroccan, Berra, only Algerian, not sure about the others, but i would guess not.

Rachida Dati: Alpine + Med (passes as Euro)
Nora Berra: Afalou + Berberid (passes as Euro)
the rest: typical berbers (mix of East Med and Alpine)

Both Rachida Dati and Najat Vallaud-Belkacem are very attractive. They both pass with ease as Italian.

Mostly Med + CM, passes in NW Africa, and some in Southern Europe. as a bunch they look very NorthWestern African(Berbers).

The only one with some European ancestry is Najat Belkacem who has a Spanish grand-mother.

Surely they both can't pass with ease as Italian. Even if Rachida and Najat are not average North African, they are still too much exotic to an average Italian look. That kind of exotism you can only found in a very low percentage of south Italians.

The mouth of Rachida Dati and other details make her surely more North African than an average South European.

She looks to me more an exotic Spanish than an exotic Italian.

Is really Berra a North African surname?

I thought about that too. I have a friend, français de souche and his surname is Berra. There is also an ice hockey player, Swiss, called Reto Berra and he is totally European

I found this

http://www.geneanet.org/genealogie/fr/berra.html

Currently, Berra is a common surname in Piedmont and Lombardy. Reto Berra could be related to this.

http://www.cognomix.it/mappe-dei-cognomi-italiani/BERRA

The most ancient French examples on geneanet.

BERRA Sermérieu (Isère, Rhône-Alpes, France) 1665 - 1736
BERRA Villers Pol (Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France) 1589 - 1706
BERRA Nice Ste Rép (Alpes Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France) 1568 - 1673

According to French sources Nora est la fille d'un tirailleur algérien, qui fut prisonnier pendant cinq ans durant la seconde guerre mondiale. But Berra as a surname was surely spread in Europe before the XVII century.
