Well we are native to the Armenian Highland which encompasses part of Anatolia and South Caucasus. Turks over time, ever since their arrival from Central Asia, mixed and assimilated native groups in Anatolia, including, Greeks, Armenians, Kurds living in the area, to give birth to the modern day Turkish population that genetically is more connected with Anatolia than Central Asia and the Altaic region.
