Czech Republic: Customs seize 180 kg of heroin from ROMANIAN truck

Customs officers in Prague discovered a shipment of 182 kilograms of heroin on a truck from Romania. This is believed to be the largest consignment of heroin in the Czech Republic customs officials have ever seized. Heroin was kept inside wooden pallets. Police from the customs administration show sample packages of seized heroin.

Heroin comes from Afghanistan, continues though Turkey, Balkan, Hungary, Czech republic towards Western Europe.

In this case, a Czech company hired a cargo driver from Romania to deliver the goods from Turkey to Prague. The cargo driver had no idea he had heroin on board.
