Well, her maiden name is Cuntze. Looks a bit strange, since "c" /k/ is usually not used in native German words. She was born in Schleswig-Holstein and is Catholic.:noidea:

I do not understand. Could you elaborate about The "C" and the "k"?

The letter C is not used for the [k] sound in native German words. "Kurz", "können", "Krieg'', etc. The C is used only in loanwords from French and English. "Coup'', "Camping", etc.

Ah, i understand now. But when a surname begins with "C" the pronuciation is the same of letter K. And have many germans surnames begins with "C"

In the alphabet when you buchtabieren the letter "c" sounds "tsi" and "K" sounds "KAh"

You can blame the Jews and Southern German Celts for that.

Cuntze is a Slavic derived German name. Its another version of Kuntze. Thats about it.
Apart from that these politicans look pretty average. Nothing special about them

I have no doubt about it. For me, both are average. And also know tha Cuntze is a version of Kuntze. Because of this I made a question for Sojourner

I thought as well that it was just some kind of obsolete spelling.

Indeed like Majer and Mayer, Bayer or Bajer, Pötsch or Poetzsch, Kraus or Craus

Whats so surprising about it. Germans are a huge population. There are other elements as well. They are not pure Germanics, even though the majority still is

Germanic people are usually depicted as blond Nordic people in my country. Even Geographically these people are little bit off. Their color complexions look more south euro.

Well, that is incorrect. There are plenty of Germans in the USA and the majority are not blond and a good portion have brown eyes.

I know. In my country a stereotypical German is usually tall, blond with blue eyes(typical Nordic). Thats why I said it.

I agree that there are plenty of darker eyed and haired germans out there but even by those standards Christine Haderthauer doesn't look ethnic German to me. If she was Swiss, French or Spainish I would still say there's something slightly non-european about her look and I'm talking about her features. Not saying she isn't fully German, she probably is but just saying her phenotype doesn't suggest fully german, that's all.

Looks Taurid (Armenoid-Dinarid mix)-CM with Alpine influences, looks southeastern German, even if she was born in Schleswig-Holstein apparently

OP ones look Atlanto-Alpine-CM, second one more Dinaricized (also has a bit of a Polish lego jaw)
