There are several theories about origin of their surname. Its either from Slatina or Hungary.

You said he is from my town. Yes he is, but i guess they came from area around Osijek. They were not there forever.

His parents are from a place near Slatina (Veliki Rastovac), but that is not important.

For some reason people from Slatina are stupidly tall. I had few of them in my class, till end of fourth grade of high school they all reached around 195-200 cms.

His surname is of Slovak origin. There were many Slovaks in rural Slavonia (but his parents are ethnic Croats)
Can fit in Finland I think- east baltic
