He's dark, but the only thing that looks peculiar in terms of his features is his nose. While he certainly isn't the most common type of Spaniard, I don't think he is so unusual either.

Although most Canarians look fully European, you can still find some exotic types, but that guy in the OP is odd-looking although looks more normal without the buzz cut.

Hence the reason I said he looked "Boricua" which means Puerto Rican. Puerto Ricans often use that term to refer to themselves, plenty of Ricans here in Florida.
