Hello!
I finally found out my paternal haplogroup, which is J2b2. My grandfather from Belluno (northeastern Italy) carried it. What do you know about this particular branch of J2? Origins, ancient civilizations that carried etc..?
Thank you everyone :)

In Europe it's most common among Albanians.
Some theories tell that ancient Macedonian troops brought that lineage in Central Asia.

Nice to see another J2 around. Well your paternal line ancestors are J2 at least. :)....Northeastern Italy certainly does seem to have some Balkan like influences and J2b2 is found at high frequencies in the Balkans so your grandfather's results make sense.
