Prosecutors closed the Moscow branch of the "Slavic Union"
Prosecutors in Moscow conducted an audit of the legality of the Moscow city organization of the interregional public movement "Slavic Union".
The review collected evidence that the objectives and actions of this association are aimed at carrying out extremist activities that resulted in violation of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, harming the individual, the health of citizens, society and state.
Also called movement extends the idea of promoting national socialism, which is its ideological basis, similar to the ideology of Nazi Germany. These ideas reflect the exclusiveness, the superiority of rights on grounds of his ethnicity.
In accordance with art. 9 of the Federal Law "On Countering Extremist Activities in the Russian Federation is prohibited the activities of organizations whose aims and actions are aimed at carrying out extremist activities.
Extremist activities be banned by a court decision on the application of the prosecutor.
Given the foregoing, the City Attorney sent to the Moscow City Court declaration of acceptance of the Moscow city branch of the interregional public movement "Slavic Union" and the banning of extremist activity.
