Well, that's my impression when looking at her...Her eye region looks a bit like that of my grandmother actually who is Frisian only those of my grandmother are clear blue.
She could be Dutch as well without any problem.

I agree with you. If I had to guess a non-Italian ethnicity for her I'd probably guess German. From posting on this site so far I have learned from Italian posters that Geraldine Ferraro types are not uncommon in Tuscany or in some parts of Campania.
