That's a wonderful piece of architecture. I've seen some similar builds, but cannot for the life of me recall what style of architecture it's considered under.

Na matter how beautiful central northern European cities are they lack a soul. Its nature its people their city walls & streets lack something fundamentally deep, a soul.
Not only do i feel this to be true everytime i find myself in a western or northern European capital but Nietzsche explains this in detail comparing italy greece to northern western European cities.
Its just the way it is folks, southern euros and mediterraneans are the soul of the planet, not only europe.

We're talking about architecture here but nobody talks about the landscape. I am only somewhat familiar with the northern and western Bohemia (having driven through it), but those hills are impressive - like here near Tetschen.

Train trip report on the Ceske Drahy Railjet train from Bratislava to Prague. The train was named Slovenska Strela in memory of the first express train from Bratislava to Prague, passing by Brno. The Railjet is just an amazing train: fast, quiet and extremely comfortable. The train that everyone would travel with. Like almost every European train, it's perfectly suitable for the Interrail pass. From Bratislava to Prague by train is a 4 hours trip, perfectly suitable for the interrail (I personally used it some years ago on my Interrail trip).
TRIP INFORMATION:
· Company: České Dráhy (CD)
· Train number: Railjet 284
· Price: Around 15 €uro
· Distance: 398 km
· STATIONS: - Departure: Bratislava - Hlavná Stanica -
Arrival: Praha - Hlavní Nádraží
· Departure Platform: 03 ·
Recorded with SAMSUNG GALAXY S9+ (in UHD 4K).

You can easily travel by train through many parts of Europe. Compared with using the plane, travelling by train can be much more comfortable and cheaper. You can travel from Hamburg to Prague for less then 30€. Also the central stations are mot likely much nearer to the city center as the airport. From Pragues central station you need only a 10 Min. walk to the old town. Compared with arriving at the airport you save more then 30 Minutes and additional costs for the necessary taxi or train ride. The board restaurant offers good food & drinks for a fair price. A coffee costs 2,50€, large Czech beer 3,80€ and a warm meal around 8,00€. Also the restaurant is most definitively the best place to sit. The atmosphere is great and you don't need a reservation for it and can freely choose a seat. The saved fee for a reservation of a regular seat can now be invested in drinks and food. From my point of view the much better decision. After crossing the border from Germany to Czech Republic in Bad Schandau, the happy hour starts and prices for alcoholic drinks get reduced for 50%. But most important is to enjoy the view you would miss in a plane:

In Bohemia, at the very heart of Europe, south of the Golden City of Prague and guarded by medieval castles, lies a hidden mosaic of lakes and gently flowing rivers, of misty forests and mysterious peat bogs. This important wetland, shaped both by nature and centuries of influence by man, is a magnet for huge flocks of birds and home to an amazing diversity of plant and animal life. In spring there is an explosion of life as the trees are weighed down with nests of cormorants, egrets, herons and storks. With the arrival of winter the landscape becomes silent and desolate. Otters are hunting fish under the ice of frozen lakes while White-tailed Eagles soar over gaps in the ice, targeting fish and birds. Since his early childhood wildlife cinematographer Jiri Petr has spent much of his time in this wildlife paradise. Together with him, we will explore this remarkable habitat and observe the changing faces of nature during the course of one year that inspired many artists and writers alike.

A tram with a “Wow” factor normally reserved for iconic sports cars is hard to imagine, but the Tatra T3 Coupé does just that. In a city where trams both modern and traditional are a common sight, the T3 Coupé stands out as people stop, to wave, take a photo or just watch it pass by. The T3 tram has been an integral part of the Prague cityscape for over half a century, Prague Public Transit Co in conjunction with the studio Anna Marešová designers worked to create a sightseeing tram that celebrated the T3 in Prague, resulting in the creation of the T3 Coupé, combining the very best of sixties design with a contemporary, stylish all white interior. Prague's first horse drawn tram line was opened in 1875, and the first electric tram ran in 1891. Today’s network consists of 142.4 km of track served by a sizable fleet of 968 trams. This video starts at Náměstí Republiky with trip to Sídliště Barrandov over the extension opened in 2003 between Hlubočepy–Sídliště Barrandov followed by a run through the city to Královka and finally on to Pohořelec close to Prague Castle.

At the back of a car park, a few minutes from the historic centre of Brno, is a giant old stadium, that has been abandoned ever since FC Zbrojovka Brno were forced to move out "temporarily" in 2001. But why did they leave? How has it survived demolition? And what's the story about the former player and the fans who brought it back to life for one final match in 2015?

Prague is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in the world and a true paradise for every tram fan. Here in their homeland you can still admire the iconic Tatra T3 in large numbers, on the nostalgia line 23 even in original condition. The newer Tatra model series KT8D5.RN2P and T6A5 are just as much a part of the cityscape as the Škoda low-floor trams of the 14T and 15T series.
Of course also in the video: Prague's world-famous sights, including the castle, the Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square.
