Nope, he is tanned. In fact his bone structure is more of north-pontid than pontid.

You can recognize tanned skin, it's more of his natural skin tone and all pics have same pigmentation besides there's no north pontid bone structure.

And no, that is tanned skinned. He looks like a white man to me just from bone structure. While some Pontids can be ambiguous even with lighter skin than him:

He clearly has CM compared to this plate. CM is visible in the jaw and his jaw is wider and more robust than typical pontid.

He have normal pigmentation. :) But, i'm not sure how we are similar in frontal pic. I don't see too much similarity.
