Wrong. Marina Alekseychik won Mrs World, don't confuse it with Ms World.

In my opinion: too much make-up, over bleached blonde hair.

Maybe she's pretty, but girl change that style from porno to classy.

Those judges don't have taste anymore.

Nope, that's not the case.
I have a healthy self-esteem and if a woman is beautiful I will admire her beauty and say that she is beauty. You can see my posts in classifications threads, I comment how beautiful a girl is.

It's just that I don't find this whole 'fake' look with bad make-up attractive.

I wish all girls wouldn't be able to use make up, since 90% of them are fake beauties. It's just unfair cheating against the mankind

I'm sorry, but who follows the Miss/Mrs/Mr/Ms/Captain City/Region/Country/World/Universe competitions? It's weird. Taking pride in being from the same city/region/country/world/universe/ethnicity as the winner is weird too.

Sure. She is average (7/10 or so). Probably make up makes her 8/10.

I'm glad I'm not the only one make-up hater here.
I bet she looks thousands times prettier without any of it.

Dating people who you think are hot is one thing, but having a whole competition to evaluate the hotness of people you aren't going to date is odd.

Beauty = does mean intellectual potential. Beautiful people = good human capital to cherish at least, and there is nothing wrong to be proud of it (isn't patriotism kinda same stuff?).

But on the other hand all thsese international competitions are just show business and their organisation and standards are rather questionable.

1) no, 2) if so, why not hold intelligence competitions? You're worshipping empty vases.

Sure, if you're the hot one, you can be proud of that, but someone you'll never even meet? Besides, for sport, and other things, your country has funded and created a world-beating team. In this adult equivalent of peek-a-boo, your country happens to have the girl which the judges would most like to bone. The competition, furthermore, is not direct, as it is judged and not played. Basically four dudes say 'I like this one the best' and she 'wins.' In sport there is a competition. In war there is a competition. In economics there is a competition. There are sides and teams.

Finally, in sport, your country is strong! The best! In war, too! In economics, you're rich! In beauty, one person from your country is deemed attractive by three other people. I mean, for reals? In football, for instance, the country chooses the very best team it can produce and it competes directly against all the best other teams. In this 21st century exemplar of misogyny and lechery, a) there's no centralised standard, there are like 5 Miss/Mrs World/Universe competitions, into which only the egotistical, naive, and easy-to-control are entered, and there are as I understand laws against married or previously married people entering. It's idiocy, for the entertainment of idiots. I am ashamed to have citizenship from one country (the US) that takes this high-level stupidity seriously. At least in the UK, we couldn't care less.

It's all questionable.

There wern't many attractive contestants in this competition . Also, the quality of pictures on the first page is appalling. I think she's a natural blond. She dyed her hair to get a different shade.

These pictures are a little better. She is 31 year old.

I think that's very foolish and narcisstic, I dislike such people.

I agree with you. That's all just show business and a true beauty competition must be based on scientific criteria, but I'm afraid it could fall into racism or be considered racism by public and thus get demonised, because it would be based on anthropology for sure.

I know good looks correlates with intelligence, but you're not 'indirectly worshipping intelligence' you're worshipping the looks. If you want to worship intelligence, worship intelligence.

Her makeup looks disgusting, like a mask.

She probably would look better without it.

She's gorgeous, but she needs to shoot her stylist.

Congratulations!
