Bulgaria’s far-right nationalist Ataka party celebrates Saturday the 5th anniversary of the party’s founding, Ataka press center informs.
The party marks the anniversary for the very first time in the National Palace of Culture in downtown Sofia with the keynote address delivered by party leader, Volen Siderov.
Guests include all Ataka Members of the Parliament, local party representatives from across the country, regional and municipal coordinators of the political force.
Ataka have invited the leader of the ruling Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) party and Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, Deputy PM and Interior Minister, Tsvetan Tsvetanov. So far only Tsvetanov has confirmed his attendance.
Since the appointment of the new GERB cabinet in the summer of 2009, Ataka and its leader, Volen Siderov, have been the strongest and most unwavering supporters of all government decisions.
