I'm R1b1a2a, my father's family comes from Northern Apulia. R1b L-23 was brought by Dorians (greeks indoeuropean) with colonization (Magna Graecia). But the northern Apulia was not colonized by greeks... How is it possible? Maybe an other influence? Thank you!
I am like you R1b1a2a "R1b L-23" and i am albanian...forse tuo bisnonno era terrone albanese o highlander albanese

Assuming that this map is fine, your father's family could be arrived in Northern Apulia from other places in Southern Italy.

I don't think He's from Albania...his surname maybe comes from greeks, or romans. But...who knows?

In the North of apulian there were the Iapyges and strong Samnite influences, perhaps come from them this haplogroup.

L23 is not just greek, it's an old clade that probably came from somewhere in West-Asia,

People don't have written that they are U152 or L23/R1b in general on their foreheads and younger branches always coexisted with older branches, migrated with them(in case of migration, younger branches took advantage but older ones still existed and had their % contribution. So L23 itself, as a relatively aged branch, can be BASICALLY ANYTHING.It's the deep subbranch under L23 that matters! But for that, something much better than 23andMe would be required (FTDNA/ YFULL)
