Hey all;

I am a little familiar with the taxonomic classifications from reading the posts in this section of Apricity.

I am just wondering how you see me as it'll help me look at things with a more educated eye.

Also, if you please, what are the "markers" that inform your opinion and analysis?

I've seen you in a "Meadhall" some place, methinks! :D

Do you have any African ancestry?

I'd say you're somewhere between Mediterranid and Alpinid, with your morphology being somewhat similar to this German fella:

Do you have any African ancestry?

None that has turned up in my genealogy research thus far, and I have gone back to the late 1400's in some lines. Looks like, save for a great great grandmother who was Mohawk, no non-European ancestry.

My slightly broad nose could be a result of the punches I took while boxing in college ,-)

(Looking back at the pictures, I see the nose is still a bit broad in my high school photo, but still, no African, at least sub-Saharan, that I know of...)

Huh!?

No Hindustani ancestors, either.

:thumb001:

One of the ancestors I found was born in Hoxel, Germany (a bit east of Trier near Morbach) in the 1750's, Matthias Brucks. Looks like he was a Palatine who emigrated to Ireland, married, had one child, left the child with the maternal grandparents (named Brady) and then moved on to Pennsylvania, changing his name to Bridges.

However, definitely wasn't expecting any Nordic.

Yes, you relate the most with the palatinate.
It is one part of Germany which has a very strong darkhaired influence ..

Mediterranid between Atlantomediterranid and Gracilmediterranid with Cromagno-Alpinoid.
