Taxonomy is curious to me, I know it is not used in scientific realms any more due to its racial implications and some theories that were invalid, but if you talk to a forensic analyst when dealing with skulls, they use guidelines to detect "race"

I don't pay attention to the Anthropology and Classification threads. Genetics gets my attention every now and again. I go through genetics "phases". I steer clear of racial and political issues as neither of them interest me and are generally shit storm territory.
