Her mom's Creole, and looks more like a Puerto Rican or Dominican than a typical American black. Her dad is African American.

She could be both but maybe leaning towards African-American a little bit more.
Her creole blood is strong so she clearly doesn't look 100% black so the latina part in her isn't so farfetched.

She would stand out in a group of black brazilians,so she would in an african american group!In my opinion she looks nothing like an average african american!If she was brazilian I would call her a ''parda'' rather than ''black''.She probably consider herself ''black'',wich is not wrong in my opinon since the US census is even more incomplete than the brazilian one!But I definitly can't see her as a standard african american!
