You're painting it as if it were a pitched battle in which they were outnumbered 5 to 1 and won, when in reality wars that involve the invasion of a country with an extremelly rough terrain are notably complex and hard, which is why montain folk are always reknown for how resilient they are to foreign aggression, no matter where in the world you are.
Anyway, even if it were, using one war to point one ethnic group being "superior" to the other is just ridiculous (as this whole thread).

That's cute, now check the dates and see how many of them were made after Scotland joined the UK and had all the means the English created made avaliable to them.

I do not know if they are overrepresented in the British Armed Forces, nor do you provide a source for your claim, but I fail to see how that makes them superior. Using the idea of one bloke to say "lel Scots arr bettre dan teh engleska" is idiotic.

Absolutely, they are. The English are overall weak and home to a submissive farmer/serf populace. If you look at history, England has relied on successive regime changes to remain powerful: Anglo-Saxons, Normans, Welsh Tudors, Scottish Stuarts, Cromwellian military dictators, Parliamentarians and a Dutch King, etc. Basically, once the English elite grow soft and ineffectual, they are replaced by more powerful rulers from the continent/other parts of the Britain, and this is literally the only way that England has historically managed to retain their edge over the other people in the British Isles.

On the other hand, Scotland has remained constant and firm as a rock being battered by the waves of a rough sea. When England ruled Wales, Ireland, and the entire Western half of France (Aquitaine, Anjou, Britanny, Normandy, etc.) they still couldn't hope to take Scotland and were thwarted when they tried.

So overall, I would say that when you compare the English population to the Scottish population, you find that Scots are infinitely more stalwart, formidable, valiant, and resilient than the English in general.
