Photographer Eric Lafforgue captured some really heart-touching pictures of North Korean people. Kim Jong Un (The Dictator) did not want these images to be seen by the outside world as they depict widespread poverty in so called "RICH" North Korea.

The North Korean authorities have taken objections to even the simplest of the images. The forbidden images include those which depict poverty, malnourished kids, men collecting grass, child labor and the places having no electricity. World leaders should take this into account and condemn it.

You can not click malnourished kids.

That was a rather common sight around here until the owner of the local bus station finally went under and more capable owner took over, the little privatizing scam prick should have his balls cut off xD, there's a video of me pushing a bus, out there, somewhere...and there was less of us most of the time, could've used couple of militiamen to give us a hand.

Maybe they are just friends. I've often held hands with a female friend in public.

I don't care what happenes in North Korea. I don't want to mess in the inner issues of other countries. Therefore, I won't criticize, I won't comment as I don't want to offer my support to Americans in any way, even with this post.

Koreans- especially females hold hands- even as adults- when they are close. Nothing at all to do with homosexuality.

In some East Asian countries two people of the same sex can hold hands together without it being sexual.

Girls can hold hands here too and no one would see it as sexual. Men on the other hand... :D

I think it's the same in Australia but two women walking hand-in-hand are still going to seen as in a sexual relationship by many onlookers. In general, walking hand-in-hand is reserved for couples around here.

It's seen as quite normal here, I think no one would see young girls holding hands as lesbians. However, it can have sexual conotation if the women are older or masculine looking as stereotypical lesbians.

It's not homosexuality, it's called Skinship. It's very common in South Korea (And I assume North Korea as well).

The term has also been adopted in South Korea as 스킨십 (seukinship). In South Korea, non-sexual physical contact between members of the same sex is normal, and is often encouraged. Seukinship largely refers to the act on bonding through intimate, non-sexual contact between platonic friends that includes, but is not limited to, holding hands, hugging, cuddling, kissing on the cheeks, and, sometimes, even bathing together.
