This is a follow-up to the story we ran here.

After refusing to call herself a “feminist” during a recent interview with Redbook for the magazine’s February 2015 issue, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, the 29-year-old star of “The Big Bang Theory,” has become the unexpected target of feminists who simply can’t stand anyone deviating from the ideological faith.

The hate and ire of modern feminists is nothing new, of course, but the specific attacks on Cuoco-Sweeting embraced a new and under-handed low when The Huffington Post jumped into the fray.

In reporting the story, HuffPost subtly combined two articles into one in the dishonest attempt to trick its readers into thinking that “The Big Bang Theory” star was both a liar and a hypocrite. In the exact same article, headlined on the site, HuffPost first reported on the December “I’m not a feminist” interview with Redbook, but then immediately went on to quote the actress from a second and much older interview in which she said getting a boob-job was “the best decision” she ever made.

The article, therefore, makes it appear as if the two quotes are from the exact same Redbook interview, when in fact they are separated by almost a year.

What a disgusting news outlet, Huff Post. Have we really reached the point where it is unacceptable to not explicitly identify yourself as a supporter of the hegemonic ideology?
