Richard A. Cohen (born 1952) is a psychotherapist, author, and sexual orientation therapist. Cohen, founder and Executive Director Emeritus of the International Healing Foundation, gives trainings and runs seminars and workshops on his theories of how to help lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people who experience unwanted same-sex attraction (SSA). Cohen, who once experienced living with a gay identity in his youth, allegedly underwent years of psychotherapy to heal childhood issues which—he claims—had led to his homosexual feelings. He says that his therapy and personal growth helped him to understand his same-sex attractions, and to eventually transition to heterosexuality.

Cohen lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife and has three adult children. His foundation, the International Healing Foundation, offers psychotherapy, coaching, teleconferencing classes, and healing seminars for members of the LGBT community and other individuals with unwanted SSA.

Cohen received a counseling psychology master's degree from Antioch University.

It is unwanted same-sex sexual attraction.
Homosexuality is a deviance from normal sexuality and can be treated.

In a similar vein, I bet I can rid people of blue eyes through the power of homeopathy!

Completely not analogous. We know blue eyes are genetically determined and having blue eyes is not a problem, since blue eyes fulfil the vision function. Homosexuality is a sexual orientation that makes unviable the main purpose of sexuality itself through natural means. A better comparation would be like to compare blindness or eyesight problems to homosexuality rather than eye color.

A Jew had an idea one day...

Seriously, it's funny how some men are obsessed by other men's sexual lives.

This guy is gay indeed.
It's weird he is trying to get out of his real ego. :picard2:

Wait a minute? SSA DNA can be cured, too?! Now THAT is a miracle!

Read it with an open mind, he is a real studied psychoterapist. What he described in the video, having father issues "the boy did not sufficiently emotionally bound with his dad or he didn't sufficiently emotionally bound with other boys, in the pre-adolescent stages", is common among homosexual men.

Coming Out Straight: Understanding and Healing Homosexuality
by Richard A. Cohen
1.52 of 5 stars 1.52 · rating details · 203 ratings · 82 reviews
Richard Cohen, a former homosexual, now married with three children, struggled for most of his life with unwanted same-sex attractions. He tried desperately to find professionals who understood his condition and help him heal. Because "it was so difficult to explain myself to therapists, who didn't have a clue," Cohen eventually became a psychotherapist and developed both a groundbreaking understanding of same-sex attractions and a comprehensive treatment plan for healing homosexuality. "Coming Out Straight" not only details Cohen's personal journey out of homosexuality but also recounts his experiences helping thousands of men, women and adolescents heal their gender identity.
Recoginizing that the "gay rights movement" has done a great service in bringing the issue of homosexuality of the closet and into the light, Cohen points out that in the name of tolerance, society has now succumbed to acceptance. "If we embrace someone's homosexuality as normal and natural, their potential for wholeness will remain dormant beneath their emotional wounds. It's not bad to have same-sex attractions, as they represent a drive to heal unmet love needs. However, acting upon them leads to frustration and pain."

In simple language, "Coming Out Straight" presents the basic causes of same-sex attractions, a clear model for recovery, and stories of individuals who made the change. The book has three parts: In Part I, the author shares his own story and the root causes of same-sex attractions. Part II presents a four-stage model of recovery and healing. Part III discusses the healing of homophobia by overcoming fear and hatred of homosexuality.

While the book is meant to educate therapists, clergy, and other professionals, it also assists those who struggle with their own same-sex attractions as well as their loved ones. "Coming Out Straight" sets forth an easy to understand primer on homosexuality, both for family members and friends of homosexuals, as well as for the general public. It will open the door to a new, happier, and fulfilling heterosexual life.

Surprise surprise, queers chase cocks instead of pussies.

I'll take this moment to remind everybody of the obvious.

No (hetero) sex = no children.

And some people are not wanted to reproduce, by others.
