Вітання всім. На цей сайт заливатиму фотографії Галичини, додаватиму їх з кожною новою поїздкою. Старатимусь показати все - міста, містечка, села, замки, церкви, руїни, природу і тд.
Ласкаво прошу :)

Hi all. I will upload the pictures of Galicia to this site, adding them with every new trip. I'll try my best to show everything - cities, towns, villages, castles, churches, ruins, nature etc. Hope, you'll like my Galicia as much as I do.
Welcome :)

Historically the "Ruś Czerwona" or "Red Ruthenia", with the principalities of Halicz and Włodzimierz, which the talented Austrians translated into Galic(ia) and Lodomer(ia) :P

Actually not whole Galicia, but only its Eastern part was once known as "Red Ruthenia" (or Podole along the Dniester River - now in Ukraine). The Western part was historical province of Małopolska (Lesser Poland with historical capital of Cracow). The Westernmost tip was historically part of Silesia (former Piast Principality of Cieszyn).
