"Stephen Gordon Hendry MBE (born 13 January 1969) is a Scottish former professional snooker player.
Nicknamed as 'The King of Crucible', 'The Golden Boy', 'The Maestro', 'The Ice Man', 'The Wonder/Golden Bairn' and 'The Great One'.

Stephen Hendry became the youngest professional snooker player in 1985 aged 16 and, in 1990,
he was the youngest-ever snooker World Champion, at the age of 21.

He has won the World Championship seven times, a record in the modern era,
and was snooker's world number one for eight consecutive years between 1990 and 1998, and again in 2006/2007.

Stephen Hendry has the distinction of holding the most world ranking titles (36)
and is second on the century break list behind Englands Ronnie O'Sullivan with 775 competitive century breaks.

He has made 11 competitive maximum breaks, second only to Ronnie O'Sullivan.
In addition to winning a lot of prize money in snooker making Stephen a wealthy man,
he was also inducted into the Snooker Hall of Fame in 2011.

In May 2012 he retired from the sport to concentrate on his commercial interests, although he remains a commentator for BBC Snooker."

I prefer pool or billiards, a snooker table seems so big...
I quite like watching it on T.V. but as for playing it, no thanx, I'll stick to a pint and a game of pool in my local "The Bell" theres live music most nights of the week, anyway there is something wrong with my P.C. or me...
