That's assuming all vikings and saxons were blondes spoiler; they weren't and dying ones hair with soap was common with nordics in antiquity. Which more than likely helped give rise to the all blonde stereotype that persist even today.

Sure, but the flaw here is assuming norsemen of the past are the equivalent of present day Scandinavians. When neither the British or Scandinavian populations have remained the same since those periods. Reconstructions show much more archaic features. You have to also remember vikings brought back slaves from various European territories some of which became absorbed within the populace.
