Looks mostly Scottish I can't even see the Chinese only the small slant eyes hint at it.

I've googled him, he is only 1/4 Chinese, his mother is 1/2 Scottish

“If you talk about blood I am a quarter English, half Scottish and a quarter Chinese, brought up Scottish by my dad and impartial by my mother.

ah explains it. he's a quarter Chinese.

“It was a huge achievement. To win a cap is one thing but to get 50 with the quality of second row in Scotland is very satisfying.

“I don’t have a Scottish accent because I grew up in England. My parents divorced and I was brought up in a two-bedroom flat on a rough estate in Coventry.

“Growing up, I had to fight most days at school and deal with bullying. I didn’t play rugby at school and didn’t even start playing till I was 17.

“I played at Under-19 and Under-21 level for England but I don’t look back too much on that. I chose Scotland for the right reasons. I play for a country about which I’m very passionate.

“A lot of people say I don’t have a Scottish accent but if you have a Scottish heart you are as Scottish as anyone.

“I have gone past the stage of trying to tell people how Scottish I am. If you talk about blood I am a quarter English, half Scottish and a quarter Chinese.

“I was brought up Scottish by my dad and impartial by my mum, who was never into sport.

“My dad is as Scottish as Scottish can be. He is Rangers. He is Scotland. He hates the English. That is not me trying to sell it to people, it is perfectly true.

“My dad bought me a kilt when I was younger and I used to wear it to Christenings.

“It is not the case that one day I turned into being Scottish. I knew all about William Wallace and am interested in the history of Scotland. The more I dig into that the more passionate I feel.

“It is a great country and I speak about it with my wife and tell her I’ll be pushing for our son JJ to play for Scotland.

Indeed. The Asian part is pretty much diluted. Looks white.

Just like Pushkin neither looked like a mulatto. We won't become one race anytime soon in the foreseeable future, unless everyone miscegenates.

Maybe he's really good at calculus & the abacus. Chinese genes invisible.

Pushkin was 1/8 East African. However, Asian genes are usually less dominant than African ones.

He had a darker skin tone, negroid lips, but looked predominately Europoid. I wonder whether he has descendants living in today's Russian. They'd probably be indistinguishable from other Russians. His being nobility might have killed the family line though, or moved it elsewhere in Europe.

There are descendants of him. Of course, they are indistinguishable, it's been about 180 years since his death. As for a darker skin tone, I'm not sure, since we don't have photographs of him, only paintings and drawings.
