Not a musicvideo, but the most important scene of Blade Runner.

Use this link to watch the cyberpunk musicvideo Shock to the system of Billy Idol. It's always getting deleted on Youtube.

RoyBatty, I want Roy Batty back as your avatar. Come on! The true hero of one of the best movies ever made has to come back! :wink

You're right, he was a true hero and avenger. The other day I actually had to tell some guy on Skadi off for daring to suggest that Roy was a bad / evil character. (Presumably because the film review he read said so.... tsk tsk).

OK your wish is my command. Roy's back. :)

PS, it is also one of my all time favourites. Probably the best film Ridley Scott made. It's about as close to perfection as.... well.... can't really put it into words.

The visuals, the atmosphere, the acting, the soundtrack, the story.... it's all on another level.

Roy Batty isn't an evil character, he just wants to stay alive like all other Replicants. In my book, the only real evil act of Roy Batty is the killing of J F Sebastian, a rather innocent and sad individual who has nothing besides his few own artificial toys in a rundown old building. The murder of Mr. Tyrell is perfectly justified.

Sean Young, playing Rachael, was also doing a great job. So sentimental.

I expressly underline that statement. Sure, I'm rather young but Blade Runner is one of these few ageless movies who never become oldfashioned. It's quite an experience to watch Blade Runner. :wink

A little note about Infestation and their message:

INFESTATION is the first Québec martial industrial attack on the perpetual cultural genocide of all cultures of Western civilisation. The project defines itself by the burning and rich orchestral textures, the fast and violent percussions which give rhythm and life to aggressive and combative vocal clamours. Evoking subjects concerning the fight for subsistence of cultural heritage, the project covers the unending determination of the minority French-speaking people of Quebec through centuries and gives the clear indication to whomever looks for the strength to resist that struggling is never vain. After a long gestation of four years, the first opus entitled Bastion Intouchable is now available on Rage In Eden records (formerly known as War Office Propaganda), one of the most famous labels for the industrial martial genre.

Agreed, it was sad.

Definitely

It's hard to pick a favourite scene but the opening titles with that dark city, fireballs, the soundtrack, the "hovercars" or whatever they're called approaching the building roof etc.... awesome :)
