So I'm curious to know what you guys think. :)

I'm from Estonia but ethnically very mixed.

Hair: blonde as a child but it got darker as I grew older, now it's light brown (I dye it a darker shade though).
Eyes: blue
Height: 164,5 cm (5 ft 4)
I have a fragile/gracile bone structure.

Would be better to not mention your ancestry so you won't get biased classifications.

I think you are some kind of Atlantid with Litorid influence(east-med) + baltid.

Interesting that a lot of you said Atlantid/Med.

People in Estonia often mistake me for a foreigner coz I don't have that typical Estonian look.

I have Southern French and Mordvin/Moksha ancestry from my father's side (and possibly Slavic too).
And on my mom's I have Polish & Chuvash.
The Estonian blood that I have is on both sides. So my parents are mixed too.

May I ask why you think Pontid-Baltid? :)

That's a very unusual mix. How did the Mordvins and Chuvashes end up getting mixed with the Poles and Frenchmen?

LOL yeah... good question. :D

The ancestors on my father's side were French aristocrats/nobility (they lived near the border of Spain in Southern France) who escaped from the French Revolution and ended up in Russia, near the border of Ukraine.
There they married off their kids to local 'Russians' of noble blood with the name of "Mokshantseva" (a surname of Moksha/Mordvin origin and linked to Moksha nobility, most likely they had Mordovian ancestry).
And then their kids had to leave Russia coz of the bolsheviks, so they went to Estonia and settled down here (some were left behind in Russia and still live in Moscow as of today I heard..), and married the so-called Estonian "nobles" in South-Estonia (they owned a manor).
That's basically the story of my father's side. The only thing the French ancestors took with them from their abandoned chateau was a silver cake spade... which right now is in my father's hands.. "Let them eat cake", lol.

And as for my mom's side:
Her mother (my grandma) is half Polish, half Chuvash. My grandma's Pole mother's family was deported to Siberia, near Irkutsk, where they eventually settled down and she married a local Chuvash man in a village - and then my grandma was born. My grandma then met my Estonian grandfather during the Soviet Union, married him, and came to Estonia.

So yeah.. lots of history, mixing, and confusion. :D I hope it made sense to you though.

Med in Estonia?

LOL, I never expected to be classified as Med by some. I'm just as surprised as you. :D
I actually thought I'd be classified as Nordid or something.
But yeah, Med in Estonia doesn't make a lot of sense, does it? I guess that's why a lot of Estonians mistake me for a foreigner. Like in shops they automatically start speaking in English with me, and when I respond in pure Estonian, they're like shocked, haha.

Very interesting. You are still at least 50% Estonian and Mordva people are Finnic as well. Anyway, you seem to look fully European, you are a pretty woman, I should say.:thumb001:

Thank you. :)

Yeah, that's true. Mordvins are Finno-Ugric and I heard the Chuvash people are genetically closest to Finno-Ugric peoples too.
I'm not sure if the Mordvins on my dad's side were pure Moksha though. I think they already had some Slavic blood in them, most likely Russian, before marrying off to the Frenchmen, hehe.
Plus Polish on my mom's side - another Slavic gene there. Actually, I did a little research a while ago and found some clues that my Chuvash grandma's surname goes back to some aristocrat/noble lineage too of apparently Turkic ethnicity.

But I guess you could say I'm Finno-Ugric/Slavic/Romance mixed or something? :D
I always say I'm Estonian though, and I love my country/the Baltic States, but I have trouble sometimes with my identity as many people feel there is something not Estonian about me, lol.
