What would you prepare for anniversary ?

On this friday, i am having anniversary with my girlfriend. I am pretty tired of restaurants (I very rarely eat at home because i am lazy to prepare anything), and it is somehow plain, i would like to prepare some meal. Do you have any ideas (any kind of meat except Lamb are allowed (I don't eat smelly food)) and please consider that my cooking skills are not that great, i can although use assist of professional cook if i need him, but i primary want this to be made by me.

So any hints ? Traditional cuisine from your country with ingrediants avaliable in my country is big plus.
